Event Description: Join Temple University Harrisburg on an exciting eight-day trip to explore the culture, art and history of Cuba; accompanied by an experienced English-speaking guide. This trip will explore the depth and breadth of Cuba’s rich history and their one-of-a-kind art and culture.  Participants will have the opportunity to visit a variety of cities, including Havana, Trinidad and Cienfuegos, experiencing Cuban culture, family life and cuisine. Activities include stays in Havana, Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Scheduled visits to the following sites: Old Havana Museum of Fine Arts Plaza of the Revolution and Colón Cemetery The Malecón and Modern Havana La Cabaña fortress Partagas Cigar Factory Literacy Museum Valle de los Ingenios Museum of the Revolution Finca Vigía, Hemingway’s House & Museum Plus time to sightsee on your own Trip costs include: Round-trip airfare between Philadelphia & Havana including medical insurance, and exit taxes Air-conditioned coach for all excursions, scheduled activities and between cities & provinces English-speaking guide throughout trip Five-night hotel stay Two-night stay in private family homes in Trinidad Daily breakfast, two lunches, three dinners Estimated Cost (pending total # of participants): $2,995.00 per person, double occupancy $3,465.00 per person, single occupancy
